Lake Issyk, was formed about 8000 years ago, it is located in the Issyk gorge of the Zailiysky Alatau, around 70 km from the city of Almaty.
The lake is surrounded by mountains and has a very beautiful, turquoise color. Issyk Lake can change color several times a day, which attracts tourists to visit this mysterious place!
You can have a picnic on the lake, or stop by a trout farm along the way, where you can go fishing and taste the fish you just caught.
Optionally, we can visit an ostrich farm or a museum in the city of Issyk.
- Departure from Almaty
In the morning the driver will pick you up from the appointed address and you will go to the Issyk lake (75 km, about 2 hours)
- Arrival to the Issyk Lake
Upon arrival, you will have a trekking part (2-3 km, 1.5-2 hours).

After visiting the lake, you can stop at a trout farm and eat freshly caught trout or have a picnic in the gorge
- Return to Almaty
After lunch you will drive to the city (70 km, approximately 1.5 hours); Upon arrival, the driver will leave you at the appointed place in the city
