Day 1

09:00 – Meet the guide and board the vehicle
09:10 – Transfer to the Medeu ice skating rink parking area
09:55 – Ride the cable car to the lower station of Shymbulak Resort (2,100 m above sea level).
During the ascent, the guide will tell you about the history of the Maloalmaty Gorge, who Medeu was, and the construction of the protective dam and Medeu ice rink.
10:20 – Sightseeing tour of Shymbulak Resort. Ride the Combi-1 and Combi-2 cable cars up to the Talgar Pass (3,200 m above sea level)
11:00 – Walk along the saddle of the pass. Guests may take a short walk toward the glacier valley if they wish
12:00 – Descent to the lower cable car station
13:00 – Departure to Almaty city center
13:40 – Lunch in the city center (not included in the tour price)
14:30 – Continue the city tour: start at Zhibek Zholy metro station, take one stop to Almaly station. Walk along Panfilov and Zhibek Zholy streets, learning about the city’s architecture and history
16:00 – Visit the Green Bazaar
17:00 – Explore Panfilov Park and Zenkov Cathedral. Return to the transport
18:00 – Transfer to the hotel

Day 2

07:00–07:30 – Preparation for departure
07:30–12:30 – Transfer to the Kolsai Lakes
12:30–13:30 – Walk along the shore of Kolsai Lake
13:30–13:50 – Drive to Saty village
13:50–14:50 – Check-in at a guesthouse or hotel. Lunch at the guesthouse
14:50–15:00 – Transfer to the UAZ boarding point
15:00–15:30 – UAZ ride to the birch grove
15:30–16:15 – Hike to Kaindy Lake (eco-taxi or horseback riding available for an extra fee)
16:15–17:15 – Explore the surroundings and enjoy the viewpoint
17:15–18:00 – Return to the birch grove (eco-taxi or horseback riding available for an extra fee)
18:00–18:30 – Drive back to Saty village

Day 3

08:30–09:30 – Breakfast at the guesthouse
09:30–11:00 – Transfer to the Black Canyon
11:00–11:15 – Photo stop at the viewpoint
11:15–12:30 – Visit to the Kurtogay Canyon
12:30–13:30 – Transfer to the “Valley of Castles” Canyon
13:30–16:00 – Walking tour through the canyon (2.5 km one way)
16:00–19:30 – Return to Almaty
